1. Licensing Disclosure
GFG and its subsidiaries maintain insurance producer licenses in the states in which they conduct business. These licenses authorize our personnel to discuss insurance products, provide advice regarding coverage options, solicit and negotiate insurance on behalf of clients, and place business with authorized insurers.
2. Advisory Services
GIA provides insurance advisory services only and does not act as a broker for the placement of insurance. Any recommendations made are based on information supplied by the client and available market data.
3. Brokerage & Placement Services
Gethsemane Select operates as a retail insurance brokerage placing coverage with admitted and non-admitted carriers, while Strong Tower operates within the excess & surplus (E&S) marketplace. All placement activities are reviewed in accordance with Gethsemane Financial Group’s internal coverage and underwriting standards, which reflect our required data quality, minimum coverage expectations, and acceptable risk characteristics.
All quotations and recommendations are evaluated through these standards, and GFG reserves the right to decline to quote, recommend, or place coverage if the requested terms, market options, or risk profile do not meet our established internal criteria.
4. Compensation Disclosure
Our firms may receive compensation from insurers in the form of commissions, fees, contingent compensation, overrides, or other remuneration as permitted by law. Compensation arrangements vary by carrier and line of business.
Clients may request detailed compensation information for their account at any time.
5. Proposal & Coverage Summary Disclaimer
All proposals or summaries provided by our organization reflect exposures known to us at the time of preparation. Policy terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions govern coverage. In the event of any discrepancy between proposal materials and the policy, the policy supersedes all other documents.
6. Duty to Notify
Clients must notify us promptly of changes in operations, exposures, or risk characteristics that may impact coverage.
7. Surplus Lines Disclosure
Coverage placed through surplus lines carriers may not be subject to state guaranty funds and may include additional taxes or fees as required by state law.
